National Key Account Manager Foodservice (Spain)

Full-time based in Spain

 

Farm Frites is constantly working to expand its global position in the Foodservice market. To help realise our growth ambitions, we are looking for an experienced and motivated National Key Account Manager Foodservice.

 

Your role

As a National Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing, expanding and acquiring clients within one or more of our market segments, such as leisure chains, hotel chains, restaurant chains, water parks, etc.

  • Do you have significant experience in managing and expanding partnerships with large accounts?
  • Do you create your own budgets and sales plans and ensure you achieve them?
  • Does strategic thinking come naturally to you?
  • Can you generate new business opportunities, participate in tender processes and contribute to the future success of our organisation with your strong communication skills, persuasiveness and market knowledge?

 

As a National Key Account Manager Foodservice, you will be required to proactively align yourself with the vision and plans of the major national accounts within the Foodservice market. You will be the link between our internal organisation and the clients' headquarters. As a strategic partner, you will work together with these accounts to develop their product categories and assortments, and collectively think about how to increase sales of French fries in the dynamic world of the Foodservice market. You will close agreements on volumes, prices, promotions and introductions of new products in our range. You will translate these into concrete plans together with your clients to accelerate category growth and achieve ambitious joint goals.

Developing successful business with clients also includes:

  • Exploring the market and monitoring its development by being proactively present in it.
  • Managing relationships with existing clients and visiting potential new clients.
  • Be responsible for achieving the plans agreed with the company and the associated objectives in terms of product range, revenue, volume and margin.
  • Independently conduct annual negotiations, close contracts, introduce new ranges and analyse the results of (new) products and promotions
  • Identify customer needs, incorporate them into annual plans and ensure that the product range is aligned with those needs.
  • Attend and participate in trade fairs for the Foodservice channel.
  • Proactively suggest improvements, both for our organisation and for customers.
  • Align with our internal organisation and motivate it to implement plans, working with a results-oriented and healthy motivation for success.
  • Collaborate intensively with colleagues from departments such as Marketing, Finance, R&D, Operations and Supply Chain to develop business together.

 

Your team

You will be part of our sales team in Spain and report directly to the Country Manager for Spain. Together with your colleagues, you will work with your colleagues in a pleasant working environment and in a positive atmosphere to drive the growth of Farm Frites.

 

Education and skills

  • Do you have a demonstrable level of education (college/university level) with commercial experience?
  • Do you have at least 5 years of successful commercial work experience, preferably in the Foodservice sector?
  • Do you have experience in developing product ranges, brands and commercial relationships?
  • Do you have experience in complex negotiations at all levels?
  • Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit, commercial knowledge and good communication skills?
  • Are you proactive and independent?
  • Do you have an affinity and a healthy relationship with food?
  • Do you have a driving licence (B licence)?
  • Style, charisma, persuasiveness, participation and creativity are key to success!
